Cracking you muscles sounds painful IH. :S
Yet somehow it's something I definitely could see happening in some kind of fighting manga...

Charlie! If you don't draw a comic with cracking muscles, I will! I don't care if it's white crack or deep cracks they're doing, it's called creativity of the artist!

This is how you people make me feel. If you know what I mean.

And if I do replace a few names on the list, I want to try to clear out the entire list before I re-new it. I'm actually planning on re-doing my animation for Iron as part of a short character intro video. Similar to the GW2 human intro they have up on youtube - so around a minutes length.

So I don't want to make a new list and have you guys waiting for god knows how long.

Go for it - I don't even know how someone could possibly crack their muscles. Sounds like a torture method.

We'll see if I ever get the time to re-visit previous chars, lol. I wouldn't mind doing an animated Flesh Golem piece.

Also, the non-laggy version of the animated Iron piece is up. It shouldn't take decades to load at all now.

Flexing? Tensing up you muscles?

You can crack with the joints though. :P

@Charlie: I imagine a big golem, rock or clay with big cracks in the muscles...

Herpa derp. Sylvari Guardian for AJ's drawing thread over on the other board. Sat down for a few hours tonight and came up with this.

I'll mix her into the players later on.

Epic

The armour looks more useful than most Sylvaris I have seen so far.

A few hours? You make me cry ;_;

It's so beautiful. You're so good in conveying movement and power in your pieces. You should entitle this thread Charlie's Epic Action Fighter.

Heh, yeah I sat down late last night and needed to draw something that wouldn't drive me insane. Been getting some homework for my studio classes, and they're fairly boring/repetitive since it's the beginning semester.

I might be doing more character drawings like this just so I can sort of keep up with you guys and get more practice. And so I can actually clear out this list....

*still holding the sign up saying 'I still volunteer Ran wearing Drakescale armor and wielding a felblade' shivering under the cold midwest blizzard with puppy dog eyes staring at Charlie*

EDIT- and yes, the sign leads to a linked site. I hired an Asuran to make that possible.

Front page updated with the newcomer Sylvari, Dahlia. Slowly getting around to re-working the first post layout. Also need to start busting out some thumbnails for Shala. Getting sidetracked with homework and AJ's thread.

@Raven: I'll probably end up drawing Ran. I like the look of the scales and could use some practice with leather armor.

@IH: I could use a Sin, though I think you might have some competition with Smilin'.

@Drel: I remember your Mesmer looking really cool. So who knows?

@Death: Don't think I've ever actually seen your char before?

@V: Dervishes are nifty, and would be a fun character to play around with movement wise.

Your sylvari is amazing @.@ I've been staring at it for like 5 min lol...almost reminds me of those 3D things, where you cross your eyes(pretty much) or stare really hard and the image pops out...
maybe im just crazy

Exclamation

oh. my.

Charlie, that is outstanding .. is that Iron~? he's come a long way from bashing Afflicted.

I recall then that you wanted him in Taiko .. now he's in there alright.
Powerful choice of music, perfect (taiko drums would also work)
and your animation, superb .. just the right emphasis, you've exercised restraint from animating everything that might look cool

amazing, breathtaking, I've lost count of how many times I've watched this loop

~ ~ ~

hm, I like your Sylvari, a very strong representation - this does for that race what the LotR movies did for elves.
I wouldn't call this one a treehugger~! (well not to her face)

~ ~ ~

ha, of course I'd love Alacrity in your style, but as I mentioned way back, you prolly need more dudes for balance.

edit:
also what did you need Maya for~? are you dabbling in 3D as well~?!
and, uh, who's AJ~?
(yes I'm late to the party - *had* to check out what you've been cooking)
